You may believe that germs have the upper hand in the ongoing war between you and home germs. They, unlike you, can be almost everywhere at the same time. You can often be hurried or exhausted when it comes to hand-to-hand fighting. However, they don't. As a result, you must use some of the most effective methods for eliminating germs from your home.
Sanitize Your Family Room
Germs tend to group in places
where people gather, such as telephones, coffee tables, TV remotes, and video
controllers. Wipe them down with disinfectant wipes regularly. Wipe the dust
off your flat-screen TV with a damp microfiber rag. Crusts should be vacuumed
up as soon as possible, and spills should be cleaned as quickly as practicable.
Bacteria will not grow in your carpets or furniture in this way.
Clean Your Laundry Room
Do you consider your washing
machine to be one of the cleanest areas in your home? Reconsider your place.
Bacteria and viruses can contaminate your washer and subsequent loads of
laundry. Once a week, run your washer empty with a cup of bleach to keep it
clean. Wash and dry the laundry at the highest temperature the fabric can
tolerate to destroy germs.
Disinfect the rooms of children
Children are easily infected and
transmit germs. Use disinfecting wipes or spray to wipe down all surfaces in
your child's room once every week. If you have an infant, make sure the diaper
changing area is reasonably clean. Clean the crib boards, planks, and toys as
well. Give at least 30 seconds for the disinfectant to work. After that, use
moist paper towels or a clean, wet cloth to wipe it down thoroughly.
Clean Railings and Knobs
On doorknobs, drawer handles,
railings, faucets, light switches, and lamps, germs spread easily. Every week,
wash these surfaces with disinfecting wipes or a sanitizer. When anyone in your
family is ill or you have visitors, do it more often. This would aid in the
elimination of viruses such as COVID-19 and the flu.
